For PGT
Candidates must have either a
two-year integrated post-graduate course with at least 50% marks in aggregate
(45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) in the concerned subject or a Master’s
degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45%
for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) in the concerned subject.
The candidate must also have a
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.), a course prescribed by the National
Council for Teacher Education, from an institution recognized by NCTE and
affiliated to a recognized university.
The candidate should be proficient in
teaching in both Odia and English medium. Knowledge of computers is desirable.
For TGT
Candidates must have either a
four-year integrated degree in the concerned subject from an institution recognized
by the National Council for Teacher Education with at least 50% marks (45% for
SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates),
OR
A Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science
in the concerned subject with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates)
along with B.Ed. or a three-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. course recognized by
NCTE.
The candidate should be proficient
in teaching in Odia and English medium. Knowledge of computer application is
desirable.
